
Willis Chung got his start in production 10+ years ago, producing low budget USC student films, music videos and commercials. In 2011, Willis transitioned into the camera department where he fine tuned his skills as a digital imaging technician for commercials, television, and features films. After purchasing two DJI Phantoms in late 2013, he was hooked on the revolutionary possibilities of UAV technology. Willis most recently held the position of Marketing Director at DJI, North America and helped grow DJI into one of the world’s most popular drone manufacturers. Instrumental in creating strategic alliances with entertainment shows and films. Willis’ team at DJI created an infrastructure that’s paved the way for drone use in the news gathering and public safety space, having helped NBC, CNN, Getty Images, Gannett and ire departments throughout the U.S. get on board this new technology.
